Have Questions? We Have Answers.

Here's what most people ask before they call. If you don't see your question here, just pick up the phone—we're happy to talk through it.

  • No. Our guidance is completely free. We're paid by insurance carriers when you enroll, not by you.

  • No. We only work with licensed specialists who are trained to match you with coverage that fits your situation. If a plan doesn't make sense for you, we'll tell you.

  • Great question—this is where most people get confused. Medicare Advantage (Part C) is an all-in-one plan that replaces Original Medicare. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) works with Original Medicare to cover gaps. Which one makes sense depends on your doctors, your budget, and how you use healthcare. We'll explain both.

  • Your Initial Enrollment Period starts three months before you turn 65 and ends three months after. If you miss it, you could face penalties. There's also Annual Enrollment (October 15–December 7) when you can switch plans. We'll help you figure out your deadlines.

  • That depends on the plan. Some plans have networks, some don't. We'll check which plans include your doctors before you make any decisions.

  • You may be able to delay Medicare enrollment without penalty. We'll walk through your options based on your employer size and coverage.

  • Most people need Part D (prescription drug coverage), either standalone or built into a Medicare Advantage plan. We'll review your medications and find plans that cover them affordably.

  • Some people qualify for programs that reduce premiums and out-of-pocket costs. We'll let you know if you might be eligible and how to apply.

  • You're not stuck forever. Depending on when you enrolled, you may have a window to switch. And during Annual Enrollment, you can change plans every year. We'll make sure you understand your options from the start.

  • We work with most major Medicare carriers, which means we can show you a wide range of options. We're not tied to one company, so our recommendations are based on what's best for you.

  • Absolutely. Many of our calls include family members helping a parent or spouse navigate Medicare. Everyone's welcome.

  • It helps to have your Medicare card (if you have one), a list of your current medications, and the names of your doctors. But if you don't have all that, don't worry—we'll figure it out together.
